Brooke (Bockelman) Lowery has a diverse range of work experience. Brooke began their career as a Booking Intern at the Jerome Schottenstein Center in 2007. From there, they worked as a Corps Member for Teach For America from 2009 to 2011 and then as a 6th Grade ELA Teacher at the Alum Rock School District from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they transitioned into the events industry as an Event Coordinator at Nationwide Arena, where they managed various arena events and provided quality customer service. Brooke then moved on to become a Booking Manager at Columbus Arenas Sports & Entertainment in 2012 and eventually became the Director of Booking at Columbus Arena Sports & Entertainment in 2017. Currently, Brooke holds the position of Vice President, Booking & Events at the Cleveland Cavaliers, a role they have held since April 2019.

Brooke (Bockelman) Lowery attended Napoleon High School for their secondary education, although the specific start and end years are unknown. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at The Ohio State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and African American Studies. Brooke's undergraduate education at The Ohio State University took place from 2005 to 2009.
