Conor Kenney has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Conor started their career in 2004 as a Teacher with Denver Public Schools, where they taught Math and English and was recognized as the 2009 Mile High Educator of the Year. In 2006, Conor founded Simply Forte Web Design, a web design company that provided services to small businesses. Conor worked independently and collaborated on design projects until 2013.
In 2009, Conor joined The Joshua School as a Lead Teacher, supporting children with Autism & Asperger's. In 2012, they transitioned to the role of Technology Coordinator, focusing on integrating technology into the school's curriculum and establishing its reputation as a leader in utilizing technology for student, staff, and parent support. Conor remained with The Joshua School until 2013.
From 2013 onward, Conor's career shifted to the sports industry. Conor joined the Cleveland Cavaliers as a Digital Production Manager, overseeing web and graphics development, social media management, and site planning. Conor held several roles within the organization, including Director of Professional Services and Director of Development & Implementation. In 2018, Conor became the Senior Director of Development & Implementation, a position they held until 2021 when they were promoted to Senior Director of Product & Technology. In 2022, they were appointed as the VP of Product and Technology at the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Conor Kenney holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Educational Psychology, which they obtained from the University of Colorado Denver between 2003 and 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology at Washington University in St. Louis from 2000 to 2002. In their earlier years, between 1998 and 2000, Conor studied Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance at Indiana University Bloomington, although they did not receive a degree in this field. Additionally, Conor has obtained certifications such as the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in August 2017, and the Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in April 2017.
