Jason Hillman

Jason Hillman was named Basketball Chief of Staff/Team Counsel in July 2017 after having spent the prior 12 years of his career with the Cavaliers on the business side, most recently as Senior Vice President/General Counsel. He is responsible for negotiation and execution of player and staff contracts, general administration of the team’s basketball operations department, player and staff immigration matters,

compliance with NBA Rules, and assistance with management of the team’s salary cap,

trade and free agency strategy and execution.
