Jeremy Hawks

Jeremy Hawks has diverse work experience in various industries. Jeremy started their career in 2004 at Advance Auto Parts, where they progressed from a retail associate to a General Manager. Their responsibilities included overseeing retail operations, sales, hiring, and inventory management. Jeremy then transitioned to Teleproductions at Kent State University in 2015, where they worked as a Video Production Specialist, handling camera operations, post-production, and directing for live sporting events and recorded speeches. During this time, they were involved in the video operations for the 2016 MLB World Series. Jeremy joined the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2017 as a Digital Content Producer, where they shot, edited, and created video graphics for the team's website, social media accounts, and community partnerships. Jeremy won an NATAS Lower Great Lakes EMMY award for cinematography during their tenure. In addition, they worked as a Production Assistant & Camera Operator at FOX Sports from 2017 to 2021. Jeremy then worked as a Videographer/Content Producer at Race Winning Brands from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Jeremy is employed at Babcox Media as a Video Editor and is responsible for video editing. Jeremy joined the Cleveland Cavaliers again in 2021, this time as a Producer-Broadcast & Longform Content, where they edit, shoots, and produces content for multiple shows digitally and on broadcast. Jeremy has earned multiple regional Emmy nominations and has one award. Overall, Jeremy Hawks has a strong background in video production, camera operations, and content creation for various organizations.

Jeremy Hawks attended Kent State University from 2014 to 2020, where they pursued a degree in Digital Media Production with a concentration in Film. Their field of study was focused on Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia. In addition to their degree, Jeremy obtained various certifications from Lynda.com, including After Effects CC Essential Training, Illustrator CC Essential Training (2015), Acing Your Interview, Giving Your Elevator Pitch, Screenwriting with Final Draft, and Business Etiquette: Phone, Email, and Text. These certifications were obtained in 2016.
