John Kalavsky

John Kalavsky has extensive experience in security and law enforcement, currently serving as the Director of Health System Security at Cleveland Clinic since July 2005, overseeing security operations across multiple facilities. Prior to this role, John held the position of Chief of Police at University Hospitals from October 1997 to June 2000 and worked as Operations Manager/Investigator at Warrensville Heights Police Department from 1993 to 1997. Education includes attendance at the FBI National Academy in 1991 for executive leadership, along with a Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University and an Associate degree in Law Enforcement from Cuyahoga Community College.
