Cleveland Council on World Affairs
David Fleshler is the Vice Provost for International Affairs at Case Western Reserve University, where responsibilities include serving as the chief spokesperson on international issues and directing the Center for International Affairs. Fleshler also holds the position of President of the AIEA, contributes as Board Chair for Global Cleveland, and serves as Vice Chair and Board Member of the Cleveland Council On World Affairs. Additional involvement includes being a Board Member at Laurel School and participation in the Strategic Planning Task Force. Fleshler's previous roles include consulting for the Ohio Board of Regents and serving as Assistant Vice President at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland. Fleshler holds a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Michigan.

Founded in 1923 to promote world peace, the Cleveland Council on World Affairs is Northeast Ohio’s most prominent organization that provides the public with greater understanding and personal engagement in international relations and global issues. We strive to accomplish our mission through public lectures, international visitors programs, educational programming and outreach, and our young professionals program.
