Kara Kirby

Kara Kirby is a dedicated educator and educational entrepreneur with extensive experience in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as a 5th Grade Teacher at Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District since July 2023, Kara previously held positions such as Primary School Teacher at Campus International School and English Teacher & Curriculum Specialist at Global Ambassadors Language Academy. With a robust background that includes research and program evaluation as an Independent Educational Entrepreneur, Kara has contributed to various educational initiatives worldwide, including significant roles in improving educational programs in Tanzania. Kara holds a Ph.D. in Cultural Foundations from Kent State University and has earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Vermont College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Ceramic Arts from Antioch College.
