Nicholas Marzuola, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Bands for the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District since July 2021. Previously, Nicholas held roles such as Choir Director at Akron Public Schools and Assistant Conductor for the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony. Notable past positions include Band Director at both Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District and Youngstown City Schools, where significant increases in enrollment were achieved. Nicholas also contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Case Western Reserve University and as an Instrumental Music Conducting Graduate Assistant at Youngstown State University. Nicholas obtained a Ph.D. in Music Teacher Education from Case Western Reserve University and holds a Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting as well as dual Bachelor’s degrees in Music Performance and Music Teacher Education from The University of Akron.
