Kyle Auchter

Kyle Auchter currently serves as the Director of Library and Media Services at the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, overseeing a team of 22 Library Media Specialists and 83 Community, College, and Career Centers. Previous roles include Manager of Library and Media Services for the district, Library Services Manager at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s Allegheny Branch, and Senior Young Adult Librarian at The New York Public Library. Kyle's experience also encompasses positions as an Adult Librarian, Library Assistant at Cleveland Public Library, and internships at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Western Reserve Historical Society. Kyle holds a Master of Library & Information Science and a Master of Arts in Public/Applied History from St. John's University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History from Cleveland State University.
