Lapis Senior Conservator Of Paintings And Head Of Paintings Conservation at Cleveland Museum of Art

Dean Yoder has extensive experience in art conservation, currently serving as the Lapis Senior Conservator of Paintings and Head of Paintings Conservation at the Cleveland Museum of Art since February 2009. Previously, Dean Yoder owned and operated Yoder Conservation, Inc. from February 1985 to December 2009, focusing on paintings conservation. Additional roles include serving as Paintings Conservator and Frames Conservator/Assistant Gilder at The Bonfoey Gallery from January 1980 to January 1985, and as a Framer/Preparator at Vixseboxse Art Galleries from March 1974 to August 1979. Dean Yoder holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts, Painting from Cleveland State University, where studies were undertaken from 1978 to 1980, and attended Goshen College from 1976 to 1978.
