Laura Schleder

Laura Schleder is an experienced educator with a focus on visual arts, currently serving as a Gallery Teacher at the Cleveland Museum of Art since October 2023. Prior to this role, Laura was a Visual Arts Teacher for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District from July 2017 to October 2023, where responsibilities included documentation and data analysis to track student progress for up to 300 students. Achievements include receiving the highest rating of Accomplished for the Ohio Teacher Evaluation System for the 2017/2018 and 2019/2020 school years. Laura also taught visual arts to middle school students at Constellation Schools: Madison Community Elementary for one year and managed costume and art programs at the Fine Arts Association. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Teaching from Kent State University and a B.A. in Theatre from Miami University.
