Carmen Derose

Carmen DeRose serves as the Director of Board Administration at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History since December 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Ariel Investments, where Carmen transitioned from Associate to Senior Associate between June 2021 and December 2022, and Proxima as a Senior Market Insight Analyst from February 2019 to June 2021. Additionally, Carmen contributed as a Quantitative Analyst at The Davis Center for Portfolio Management from October 2015 to May 2018, managing a substantial portfolio. Early professional experience includes an Investment Intern position at MAI Capital Management, LLC, and an Administrative Assistant role at the National Tooling and Machining Association. Carmen began a career in childcare at the Medina Community Recreation Center, demonstrating early organizational and caregiving skills. Carmen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Dayton, earned in 2018.
