Julia Ross has extensive experience in philanthropy and development within the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Philanthropy and External Relations at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History since January 2020, Julia previously held the position of Chief Development Officer at the YMCA of Greater Cleveland from September 2018 to January 2020. Julia's background includes significant roles at Cleveland State University, where responsibilities included overseeing a $100 million comprehensive campaign, donor relations, and annual giving operations, in addition to leading the annual giving programs. Earlier experience includes serving as Program Coordinator for the Youth Connections initiative at Adoption Network Cleveland, where Julia developed strategies to enhance volunteer engagement. Julia holds a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago.
