Octavia (Harris) Moore MSW, LSW is an experienced professional in social work and advocacy. Currently serving as the Advocacy Manager for the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center since July 2022, Octavia focuses on outreach and managing advocacy efforts in Ashtabula while supervising the Ashtabula SART initiatives. Prior to this role, Octavia worked as the Outreach Manager at the Community Counseling Center, providing employment support to individuals with behavioral and mental health challenges, and also served as a City Councilwoman for Ward 4 in Ashtabula. Earlier experience includes positions as an Employment Case Manager at Goodwill Industries, Teen Program Coordinator at Ashtabula YMCA, and Case Manager at Signature Health, Inc. Octavia holds a Master of Social Work from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor's degree from Kent State University, alongside an Associate’s degree in Human Services Technology from the same institution.
