Austin Briggs is a dynamic entrepreneur with extensive experience in cannabis, education, and real estate. As the founder of the Cleveland School of Cannabis since September 2016, Briggs advocates for integrating entrepreneurship into the public school curriculum. In addition to leading Briggs Family Investments, which focuses on small business and real estate investments, Briggs serves as a public speaking and opinion leader. Previously, from 2005 to 2013, Briggs owned a freelance social media marketing and public relations business, offering a wide range of marketing services. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from Kent State University and a Cannabis Executive Certificate from the Cleveland School of Cannabis.

Cleveland School of Cannabis is a program designed to introduce and educate citizens to the field of medical marijuana through multiple curriculum options. Our primary goal is to educate Ohio residents in the Cannabis Industry, prepare them for opportunities that await. We Offer a well rounded program that educates our students in Horticulture, History, Legal, Retail, Activism, Patient access and more. After completing the general coursework, our staff is dedicated to finding high paying jobs and internships in all areas of the Cannabis Industry. Our Network consists of cannabis professionals with decades of experience in the cannabis industry. Some of our staff and advisors have been fundamental in helping pass cannabis reform throughout the United States. We are currently the only facility in Ohio offering formal cannabis industry courses. The need for this program came not from the demand for education but from the demand for trained employees.
