Irene Shao

Irene Shao is a seasoned product leader with extensive experience in the education and cybersecurity sectors. Currently serving as Product Lead for Cybersecurity at Clever Inc. since October 2022, Irene drives enterprise cybersecurity strategy and manages roadmap priorities across five product teams. Previously, Irene held roles as Chief of Staff and Founding Senior Product Manager at Forethought, leading product initiatives as the first hire. Irene's background includes being a Senior Product Manager for the payment platform at brightwheel, a Product Manager and Senior Program Manager for International at Khan Academy, and Head of International at VIPKid. Irene also founded and led 学愿桥, an online crowdfunding platform for educational projects in China. Educational credentials include an Ed.M. from Harvard University in Technology, Innovation, Education, and a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University in History, Asian Studies, and Piano Performance.
