Kirk Schaper

Kirk Schaper is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in security engineering, software development, and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer at Clever Inc. since June 2021, Kirk previously held multiple positions at VolunteerMatch, including Chief Technology Officer and VP of Engineering, where contributions to the development of the largest volunteer engagement network significantly impacted over 16 million volunteers. Earlier experience includes engineering management roles at SafeNet, where team leadership focused on major customer support, and project lead tasks involving mobile authentication solutions, as well as pivotal engineering roles at Aladdin Knowledge Systems, Secure Computing, and Websense, emphasizing research and development in security technologies. Kirk holds a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
