Lauren Schwartz

Lauren Schwartz has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Lauren currently holds the position of Global General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at cleverbridge since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Groupon as Senior Counsel, specializing in Global IP Litigation & APAC Counsel from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, Lauren has experience as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Chicago Kent College of Law from 2015 to 2016. Lauren also served as a Law Clerk at the United States Federal Courts from 2014 to 2016. Lauren's early work experience includes roles as a Volunteer Mediator and Auxiliary Board Member at the Center for Conflict Resolution from 2008 to 2016, as well as an Attorney at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from 2009 to 2014. Lauren started their legal career as a Summer Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in 2008. Lauren has also gained legal experience as an Extern at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 2008. Prior to their legal career, they worked as a Legal Assistant at Chad A. Ritchie, P.C. from 2005 to 2006 and as a Summer Associate at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP in 2007.

Lauren Schwartz completed their education at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2000 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology and Chemistry.

Additionally, Lauren Schwartz has obtained several certifications. Lauren was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in November 2009. Lauren is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, which they achieved in 2009. In 2008, they became a Certified Mediator through the Center for Conflict Resolution.
