Ian Southwell

Ian Southwell is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in 3D concept art and digital design. Currently serving as the Creative Director at Cleverlike Studios, Inc. since September 2020, Ian oversees the development of art assets across various projects. As a Freelance 3D Concept Artist since 2008, Ian specializes in transforming 2D designs into 3D models using ZBrush and 3D printing. Additionally, Ian contributes to skill-based learning as an Author for Pluralsight and has held teaching positions, including Associate Professor at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. Previous roles include digital sculpting for Omerica Organic, environment art for various game studios, and managing store operations at Starbucks. Ian holds a BFA in Computer Animation from the Academy of Art University.
