Bud Darr

Bud Darr is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Cruise Lines International Association, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they served in various roles at CLIA, including Senior Vice President of Technical and Regulatory Affairs. Bud's earlier experience includes significant service in the U.S. Coast Guard from 2003 to 2010, where they held multiple legal and maritime positions, and several roles in the US Navy, culminating as a Nuclear Propulsion Supervisor. Bud Darr earned a JD from The George Washington University Law School and a BS in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
