Shameej Avunhippuram

Shameej Avunhippuram, CMA has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Shameej started their career as a Risk & Compliance Officer at Deutsche Bank from December 2005 to March 2008, where they focused on identifying and assessing risks within the organization and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Shameej then joined Liberty Investment Company as a Senior Accountant from March 2008 to December 2011, where they prepared monthly management reports, variance analysis, and assisted in documenting significant variances.

From December 2011 to December 2015, Shameej worked as a Management Accountant at American Hospital Dubai. Here, they were responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, and producing various reports such as cost center analysis and performance indicators. Shameej closely collaborated with the Chief Financial Officer and Financial Controller to provide them with relevant reports for analysis and decision-making.

In January 2016, Shameej joined Click Aviation Network and served as a Management Accountant until August 2018. In this role, they led budget discussions, prepared and updated budget progress schedules, and designed budget models. Shameej summarized the final position and created presentations for management and executives.

Subsequently, Shameej was promoted to the position of Strategic Finance Manager at Click Aviation Network from September 2018 to May 2023. In this role, they continued to contribute to the financial planning and analysis of the company, leveraging their skills in strategic finance.

Currently, Shameej holds the position of Strategic Finance Director at Click Aviation Network, starting from June 2023. Shameej'sresponsibilities in this role include overseeing the strategic financial operations of the company.

Shameej Avunhippuram, CMA, has a strong educational background in the field of finance and management accounting. In 2003, they began pursuing their MBA with a specialization in Finance, which they obtained in 2005. Later, in 2015, Shameej completed the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) program, offered by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) in the United States. This certification solidifies their expertise in the field of management accounting.
