Yuri Kovalev

Yuri Kovalev is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in software development, project management, and system administration. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at ClickHouse, Yuri is focused on building an observability system. As the founder of Planimum, a web service for automatic working shift scheduling, Yuri oversees all aspects from system development to user experience. Previous roles include Software Engineering Manager at DoubleCloud, Technical Project Manager at Yandex Cloud, and Software Engineering Manager at Avito, among others. Yuri’s career began at Geocenter, transitioning through various positions at MegaFon and Yandex, where significant contributions to cloud management and analytics were made. Yuri holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET).
