Colby Wight

Colby Wight's work experience includes roles as a Data Scientist at Clicklease starting in 2022 and at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) from 2020 to 2022. At PNNL, they also completed an internship as part of the National Security Internship Program. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Utah State University from 2017 to 2020, where they focused on deep learning applications and led students in learning Calculus concepts. Colby also worked as a Mathematics Tutor at Utah State University from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, Colby gained experience during an internship at Orbital ATK, where they helped with technology refresh and collaborated with the human resources department. Colby also worked as a Web Developer at Prestigious Web Development and as a Grade 8 soccer ref for USSF.

Colby Wight began their education at Weber High School from 2008 to 2012. After completing high school, they attended Weber State University from 2013 to 2016, earning an Associate of Science degree in Pre-Engineering. Colby then transferred to Utah State University and studied there from 2016 to 2018, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computational Mathematics. Continuing their education, Colby pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial Mathematics at Utah State University from 2018 to 2020.
