Senior Software Engineer at Clientbook

Roberto Rosas has been a software engineer for over three years, with their most recent position being at Clientbook. Roberto has experience working with various projects, from modernizing banking customer onboarding platforms to automating internal infrastructure services onboarding. Roberto has helped with the analysis of a monolithic platform with the goal of converting it to a microservices architecture, designed various microservices on an event-driven architecture based on Kafka, enforced messaging domain using schema management concepts like Avro, built the microservices using Java and Spring Boot libraries, and automated the deployments using Bitbucket and Jenkins for a CI/CD approach on a Cloud Foundry platform. Roberto also developed a ReactJS-based frontend for collecting the data needed to initiate the load balancer infrastructure onboarding process, designed an Oracle database for storing the load balancer configuration provided by our customers, utilized the Docker & Kubernetes platform to handle our UI and API deployments, and used Elasticsearch for our log collection and analysis. Roberto has participated in several activities involving mentorship of new hires and summer interns.

Roberto attended Universidad de Puerto Rico and has certifications from Udemy in Docker Mastery, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate 2016, and Cassandra for Developers.
