Katia Gesta-Lavit

Katia Gesta-Lavit is a seasoned legal professional with over two decades of experience in legal knowledge management, currently serving as the Legal Knowledge Manager for Finance and Capital Markets at Clifford Chance since March 2002. In this role, Katia oversees legal and regulatory monitoring, provides clients with updates on legislative changes, and produces specialized newsletters focused on African law and project finance. Prior to this position, Katia held roles as an Information Officer and Documentaliste juridique in various prestigious law firms, including Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP and Salans, where responsibilities included legal research, regulatory monitoring, and the management of legal documentation. Katia holds a Master's degree in International and European Law from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University.
