Nicholas Rees

Nicholas Rees is an M&A Partner at Clifford Chance in London, specializing in acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, minority investments, and ECM transactions, particularly in the Corporate Real Estate and Industrials sectors, since January 2015. Previously, Nicholas served as a Partner at Clifford Chance in Moscow from September 2010 to January 2015, leading the English law M&A/Private Equity team and focusing on international investments into Russia/CIS. Nicholas began the career as an Associate at Clifford Chance from March 2001 to April 2010 and also acted as General Counsel for P&O Ports during a secondment in 2006-2007, overseeing the global legal functions. Nicholas holds an LPC from the University of Bristol, a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Bristol Law School, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Cardiff University.
