Rental Sales Account Manager at Clifford Power Systems

Ed Betchan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ed worked at Clifford Power Systems, Inc. from April 2011 to October 2015, where they served as a Field Service Technician and later became a Rental Sales Account Manager. In their role as a Field Service Technician, Ed gained experience in reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting engines and automatic transfer switches, and commissioning Generac generators. As a Rental Sales Account Manager, they utilized their technical knowledge to determine and satisfy temporary power needs in the entertainment/event industry.

Prior to their time at Clifford Power Systems, Ed was the Owner/President of Video Magic Productions, a video production business that they operated from January 2000 onwards. Ed handled a range of responsibilities, including budgeting, equipment procurement, and logistics for events across the continental U.S.

Ed also worked as a Wind Turbine Technician at Global Energy Services from June 2010 to April 2011, where they were responsible for maintaining a wind farm with 82 Acciona 1.5 MW wind turbines.

Additionally, Ed worked as an Independent Contractor from January 2004 to December 2010, providing video production services to various companies on a contract basis. Ed specialized in live events such as concerts, conventions, weddings, and commercials.

Earlier in their career, Ed was a Sr. Production Specialist at Netherland Corp./Grand Illusion from January 1995 to January 2000. In this role, they were involved in all aspects of video production, including producing, directing, editing, camera operation, sound engineering, lighting design, and stage design. Ed also had the additional responsibility of driving trucks, requiring a Class B CDL.

Throughout their career, Ed has demonstrated a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills across multiple industries.

Ed Betchan attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Television Production. From 1991 to 1994, they studied Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology/Technician at Oklahoma State University. In 2000 to 2001, they pursued Cinematography and Film/Video Production at Oklahoma City Community College. Lastly, in 2009 to 2010, they studied Wind Turbine Technology at OSU-OKC.
