Frank McGuinness

Frank McGuinness is the CTO at CliffRun Media. Frank has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on integration architecture.

From March 2015 to September 2016, Frank was the Lead Integration Architect for TNT’s Simplify and Transform Programme. In this role, they developed a Service-based Integration Architecture using a standards-based approach that solved problems at an enterprise level by providing a solution that supports multiple work streams and leverages reuse of existing functionality. Frank also lead a ICoE (Integration Center of Excellence) architecture scrum team, that coordinated the delivery of TOGAF based artifacts and processes such as architecture building blocks, design and delivery gating processes, service and product catalogs and guidance on tool usage.

In their previous role at TNT, Frank also specified development tools and processes to support the EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) project life cycle across the design, build and test phases. Frank supported API capability planning and management, to ensure that technical processes and capabilities align with ongoing and strategic business requirements. Frank also delivered a HLD on TNT’s initial Public API offering, that uses API Management and SOA to provide functionalities such as public API exploration, self-service developer sign-up, interactive app key provisioning, rate-limit notifications, SLA/Contract monitoring for consumers such as third-party developers, Salesforce CRM Sales/Service clients and TNT e-commerce mobile and web applications.

In their role at CliffRun Media, Frank is responsible for leading the company’s technical team and direction. Frank is also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company’s technical infrastructure.

Frank McGuinness received their M.Sc. in the Management of Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin. Frank also holds a certification from ITIL in IT Service Management. Frank's educational career also includes a B. Eng. in Electronic Information Systems Engineering from Coventry University and The Novation Enterprise Platform Programme (NEPP) in Entrepreneurship from Dundalk Institute of Technology.

Frank McGuinness reports to Philip Hogan, CEO. Frank McGuinness works with Lorenas Orleckas - Senior Development Engineer, Erik Donnelly - Marketing Operations Executive.
