Eliseo Hernández Durán

Eliseo Hernández Durán is a Metallurgical Research Engineer at Cleveland-Cliffs since August 2022, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Colorado School of Mines from October 2021 to June 2022. Prior research experience includes roles as a Guest Researcher at Technische Universiteit Delft and as a PhD candidate at Universiteit Gent. Eliseo has also worked as a Student Assistant in various capacities, including the Phase Transformation of Metals and Heat Treatment at Universidad de Santiago de Chile. Early professional experience includes positions as a Process Analyst, Trainee, and Thesis Student at ME ELECMETAL. Eliseo earned a Doctor of Materials Engineering from Ghent University and a PhD in Materials Science from Universidad de Santiago de Chile, alongside an Engineer's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the same institution.
