Ling Liao, PhD, specializes in carbon risk, carbon pricing, and environmental markets, with a focus on the electricity, carbon, and renewable energy certificate sectors. With substantial experience in academia, utilities, healthcare, and financial services, Ling demonstrates strong project management and quantitative analysis skills and has a proven ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. Currently, Ling is involved with the Climate Analytics team and serves as a Tutor and Teaching Fellow at the University of Otago, while also leading initiatives in the Winds of Change Climate Change Network. They hold multiple degrees in Finance, culminating in a PhD from the University of Otago.
