Sustainability Methodologies Manager at Climate Bonds Initiative

Carlotta joined the Climate Bonds Initiative in 2020 driven by a commitment to systems change.

She is a mission-driven sustainable finance specialist, currently on the technical development side of the sustainable finance market, directing the development, maintenance and implementation of Climate Bonds' climate- and social-related methodologies that are applied to market data products.

Carlotta has led the Climate-aligned Research and Data Services of the Climate Bonds Market Intelligence team, and contributed to entity- and instrument-level sustainable market studies and briefings, as well as to Climate Bonds’ Resilience Programme.

Carlotta previously worked at a London-based boutique hedge fund, covering natural catastrophe bonds and insurance-linked securities.

She graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a master's degree in Carbon Management, where she specialized in understanding climate change impacts and adaptation opportunities from business, economics, policy and climate science perspectives. She holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
