Climate Breakthrough
Savanna Ferguson is the Executive Director at Climate Breakthrough, a position held since October 2017. Previously, Savanna worked at CEA Consulting from June 2010 to June 2022, progressing from Research Associate to Director, with responsibilities in program strategy, recruiting, and strategic planning in various environmental sectors including climate and wildlife conservation. Earlier roles included Freelance Editorial Consultant for Island Press and Assistant Editor at Island Press, as well as a Geology Technician at Whitman College. Savanna holds a BA in Environmental Studies - Writing from Whitman College and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of San Francisco.
