Senior Analyst at Climate Change Committee

Caitlin Douglas is a Senior Analyst at the Climate Change Committee, having joined in January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Climate Change Adaptation Expert Advisor at King's College London from April 2018 to December 2022, where contributions involved translating climate risk evidence to inform UK food supply policies. Caitlin also managed the ReSET project, a European Commission funded initiative focused on aligning technological advancements with UK policy while overseeing a €2 million budget across multiple partners. Additional roles include consultancy for UKRI's UK Climate Resilience programme, developing climate services at Space4Climate, and leading stakeholder engagement for the NAIAD project. Caitlin holds a PhD from King's College London, an MSc from the University of Oxford, and a BSc from the University of Victoria.

Our purpose is to advise the UK Government and Devolved Administrations on emissions targets and report to Parliament on progress made in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preparing for climate change.
