Climate Change Committee
Florence Bates is currently serving as the Resilient Infrastructure Lead Analyst at the Climate Change Committee since October 2023. Prior to this role, Florence worked as a Knowledge Expert at McKinsey & Company from March 2021 to October 2023. With previous experience as an Engagement Manager at Vivid Economics and an Economic and social affairs intern at Trades Union Congress, Florence brings a strong background in economics and policy analysis. Florence holds a Master of Science in Economic Policy from UCL and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford.
Climate Change Committee
The Climate Change Committee (CCC) is an independent, statutory body established under the Climate Change Act 2008. Our purpose is to advise the UK Government and Devolved Administrations on emissions targets and report to Parliament on progress made in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preparing for climate change.
