Climate Change Committee
Michael Lord is a Senior Analyst in Industrial Decarbonisation at Climate Change Committee since December 2022. Previously, Michael served as an Expert Advisor at Beyond Zero Emissions, where Michael was the Head of Research for the Million Jobs Plan. Michael has also held positions such as Principal Consultant at 3Keel LLP, Zero Carbon Business Lead at University of Melbourne, and Head of Research at Beyond Zero Emissions. With a strong background in climate change and sustainability, Michael has also worked at organizations like RPS Australia Asia Pacific and the Environment Agency. Michael holds a Master of Science in Development Economics and International Development from London Southbank University.
Climate Change Committee
The Climate Change Committee (CCC) is an independent, statutory body established under the Climate Change Act 2008. Our purpose is to advise the UK Government and Devolved Administrations on emissions targets and report to Parliament on progress made in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preparing for climate change.
