Climate Change Tracker is an online platform specifically designed to support the climate intelligence of a broad public audience and enhance global understanding, tracking, and awareness of climate change. Since its launch in 2021 Climate Change Tracker has been used by hundreds of thousands of people, educators, policymakers, and scientists from around the world. The Climate Change Tracker team has co-founded the Indicators of Global Climate Change (IGCC) initiative, an international scientific community of 50 international interdisciplinary experts and scientists from 40 different universities, organizations, and government laboratories. The group includes many authors from the IPCC Sixth Assessment cycle (AR6) and earlier reports. The group addresses the need for current climate information by providing annual updates of key climate indicators featured in the most recent IPCC report cycle (the Sixth Assessment or AR6).
