Abraham Perez Serra has worked in the IT field since 2005, beginning their career as a Telematics Professor at the Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas. In 2007, they moved to COPEXTEL as an IT Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for company-wide systems administration, MSSQL replication and ETL infrastructure administration, and Active Directory management. In 2009, they began working at ETECSA_Cuba as an IT Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for the Data Department's System Engineer, installation and configuration of Dell and HP servers, and installation, configuration, and administration of Red Hat Enterprise servers and Sun Solaris servers. In 2012, they joined Brascuba as an IT Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for company's systems administration, VMWare VSphere virtualization platform management, and administration of file sharing (Samba) and network storages (OpenFiler, NetApp). In 2016, they moved to AGR Group as a Systems Administrator, where they were responsible for Office 365 provisioning and administration of email and office suite, company-wide Active Directory administration, and firewall administration and solutions design (Fortigate, pfSense, Shorewall). Most recently, in 2020, they joined IT Support Guys as a Systems Administrator and Jr. Systems Administrator, where they were responsible for designing and implementing systems for clients tailored to their needs and requirements, as well as designing and implementing Fortinet Network solutions for clients. In 2022, they moved to Climate First Bank as an AVP Network Engineer.

Abraham Perez Serra attended IPVC Havana from 1996 to 1999, where they earned their High School Diploma. Abraham then attended Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana "José Antonio Echeverría" CUJAE from 2000 to 2005, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering in the field of Electronics and Telecommunications. In addition, they have obtained certifications from CompTIA (Linux+ in October 2018), Linux Professional Institute (LPIC-1 in October 2018), and Pearson VUE (CCNA in September 2016).
