Gavin Livingston is an experienced forestry and environmental professional, currently serving as Section Head for Plantations and Environmental Plantings and Productive Agriculture at Climate Friendly since April 2023. Previous roles include Silviculture Forester at AKD Softwoods from September 2021 to April 2023, and various positions at VicForests from July 2017 to September 2021, including Operations Forester and Forest Policy and Compliance Officer (Secondment). Earlier experience encompasses roles as Forester for Projects and Certification at Pentarch Forestry, Certification Training and Projects at Brueckner Leech, and Survey and Planning Specialist at Norske Skog. Gavin began the career as a Field Assistant at Forestry Tasmania. Academic qualifications include a Master of Forest Ecosystem Science from the University of Melbourne and two Bachelor's degrees in Natural Environment and Wilderness Studies with a focus on Forest Management from Humboldt State University and the University of Tasmania.
