Climate-KIC
Christa Beck is an experienced communications professional with a strong focus on climate innovation and sustainability. Currently serving as Communications Manager at Climate-KIC, Christa leads communications strategies for climate entrepreneurship and supports content development for strategic programs. As the founder of Travel Neutral, Christa aims to reduce carbon emissions in the travel industry through sustainable travel packages. Previous roles include Community Manager at Open2Digital, Account Executive Assistant at ELAN EDELMAN, and Copywriter at PP+K, where Christa developed content for various clients and projects. Christa holds a Master of Arts in Global Communications from The American University of Paris and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of South Florida.

EIT Climate-KIC is the EU’s climate innovation initiative, working to accelerate the transition to a zero-carbon and resilient world by enabling systems transformation. Headquartered in Amsterdam, it operates from 13 hubs across Europe and is active in 39 countries.
