Lia Alvarez is a strategic program builder and climate impact advisor with extensive experience in sustainable practices and environmental impact assessment. Currently working at Climate-KIC, Lia provides climate impact services, collaborates with investment teams to measure CO2eq impacts of startups, and designs methodologies for adaptation and resilience. As the founder and CEO of Fair by Nature, Lia specializes in consultancy for sustainable practices, focusing on projects that promote a circular economy. Previous roles include innovation ecosystem strategist at Impact Forecast and various managerial positions at notable organizations, complementing an academic background in Industrial Ecology from Delft University of Technology and Leiden University, along with a Bachelor of Architecture from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
