Liz Hartley, MBA, FCIPD has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries and organizations.

Starting from 1994, Liz worked as a Managing Consultant at Hay Group for seven years before moving on to join Thomson Reuters in 2001. While at Thomson Reuters, they held various leadership positions, including Organization Effectiveness Director for the European Legal & Regulatory Business Unit and VP roles for the International Legal & Regulatory Business Unit and the Legal Information Business Unit. In these roles, they led organizational development initiatives, managed budgets, and implemented programs to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and collaboration across multiple countries and teams. Notably, Liz collaborated with senior leaders and HR teams to lead organization redesign and restructuring projects, aligning costs with revenue and unleashing talent for growth. Liz continued their career at Thomson Reuters until 2011.

Following their time at Thomson Reuters, Liz joined Save the Children International in 2012, where they initially served as an International Change Manager and later as a Talent Development Director. Liz excelled in these positions, overseeing talent development initiatives and driving positive change within the organization. Liz's commitment to learning and talent development led their to be promoted to the role of Global Learning and Talent Development Director in 2016. During their time with Save the Children International, they played a crucial role in enhancing learning and development opportunities for employees globally.

In 2018, Liz transitioned to Climate-KIC, where they currently hold the position of Head of Leadership, Learning, and Culture. In this capacity, they are responsible for fostering a positive culture of leadership and continuous learning within the organization.

Liz Hartley, MBA, FCIPD, obtained a BA Hons degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Additionally, they earned an MBA degree from Cranfield School of Management/ CESMA EM Lyon. Liz also holds certifications in the Hogan Suite of Psychometrics from Advanced People Strategies (obtained in 2018) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (obtained in May 2012).
