Marina Gil Velasco serves as the Learning Strategy Development Lead at Climate-KIC since May 2020, overseeing the design and evaluation of learning and development programs aimed at equipping partners and stakeholders with the necessary skills to address climate change and promote a circular economy. Previously, Marina held various roles at Climate-KIC, including Education Programmes Manager and Learning Community Manager. Experience spans engagement and fundraising management with local communities at Enable Leisure and Culture, as well as environmental project leadership and educational coordination in multiple organizations across Europe. Marina’s educational background includes a BSc and MSc in Environmental Sciences from Universidad Pablo de Olavide and an Erasmus year at Kaunas University of Technology, focusing on environmental awareness and climate change mitigation.
