Climate Now
James Lawler is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the climate and creative sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Anvil Capture Systems since January 2024, James is focused on delivering affordable and scalable carbon dioxide removal solutions. As the Executive Director of SRM360.org, launching in Fall 2024, James aims to foster informed discussions on sunlight reflection methods. James also founded Blue Engine in June 2022, providing strategic advisory services for sustainable projects, and Climate Now in December 2020, a multimedia platform dedicated to climate education. Previously, James was the CEO and Founder of Osmosis Films from January 2011 until its acquisition in 2020, and held roles as a Trader at Merrill Lynch and Assistant at Scott Rudin Productions. James holds a degree from Harvard University, completed in 2005.
