Denise Russell

Denise Russell has extensive experience in finance and accounting. Denise is currently working at Climate Pledge Arena as the Senior Director of Finance, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Finance at the same company from April 2020 to July 2022.

Before joining Climate Pledge Arena, Denise worked at Olympia Entertainment - Detroit Red Wings as the Director of Finance from September 2019 to April 2020. Denise also held the role of Accounting Manager, Box Office from October 2017 to September 2019, where they were responsible for managing the financial accounting, cash operations, and internal controls of various entertainment venues.

Before venturing into consulting, Denise was the Director of Finance and Administration at the Fresno Metropolitan Museum of Art and Science from February 2005 to March 2010. In this role, they oversaw finance, HR, administration, IT, and operations functions for the museum.

Denise began their career as an Accounting Supervisor at Wiebe Hinton Hambalek, LLP from January 2001 to February 2005. Here, they managed financial engagements, supervised tax return preparation, and performed various accounting functions for clients.

Denise started their professional journey as an Accountant at California's Valued Trust from November 1997 to January 2001. In this role, they handled accounts payable, payroll processing, and financial statement preparation.
