Robby Yam

Robby Yam is a seasoned event management professional with extensive experience in high-profile venues and large-scale events. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Events at Climate Pledge Arena since December 2021, Robby plays a crucial role in event production for the world’s most sustainable arena. Previous roles include Event Manager at USTA Southern California and Manager of Event Production and Activation at Spectrum Sports Management, where Robby directed multiple annual events. With a background at The Walt Disney Company as an Attractions Guest Services Manager, Robby developed training tools and managed daily operations for various attractions. Additional experience includes directing the kayaking venue for the Special Olympics World Games Los Angeles 2015, creating a marketing strategy for Long Beach State Athletics, and interning with significant organizations such as the LA Marathon and MLB Urban Youth Academy. Robby holds a Master’s degree in Sport Management from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
