Jennifer Gidley

Jennifer Gidley PhD is a distinguished expert in futures studies, serving as Principal at Global Futures Education since 2001, where empowerment to address Grand Global Challenges is prioritized. Currently, Jennifer holds an Adjunct Professor position at the Institute for Sustainable Futures at the University of Technology Sydney and is a Partner at the ACS, focusing on climate change and sustainability education. As a Fellow of the World Futures Studies Federation, Jennifer previously led the organization as President and has played a significant role in international futures projects. Notable publications include "The Future: A Very Short Introduction" and "Postformal Education: A Philosophy for Complex Futures." Additional roles include Co-Curator for the European Commission and participation in various climate and education initiatives.
