Tanya Africa is a seasoned professional in project management and product development, currently serving as a Project Management Consultant at ClimateWorks Foundation since March 2023, where support is provided to funders and issue experts in climate mitigation strategies. Previously, as Vice President of Product at ActionKit, part of We Also Walk Dogs and EveryAction from 2009 to 2022, Tanya played a key role in transforming ActionKit into a $10 million business for progressive nonprofits. Experience also includes positions as Electoral Initiatives Director at MoveOn.org Political Action, Associate Director at both Truckee Donner Land Trust and Sierra Business Council, and Executive Assistant to the Chair at Fund for Public Interest Research. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy of Industrial Societies from the University of California, Berkeley.
