Yassine Hamdouni

Yassine Hamdouni has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Yassine began their career as an Intern at the Association Marocaine des Droits Humains, A.M.D.H (Moroccan Organization for Human Rights), where they conducted online research on human rights issues and death penalty in the world, translated policy documents, and shadowed human rights lawyers and activists advocating for the abolition of death penalty in Morocco. In 2015, they interned at the City of Berkeley in the Department of Planning and Development. In 2016, they interned at the Social Apps Lab at CITRIS. In 2018, they worked as a Teacher at English Business Services Milano. In 2019, they took on the role of Strategy & Business Development at Climate.Careers, the climate-focused job discovery platform. Most recently, in 2020, they have been working as a Software Engineer at Climatebase.

Yassine Hamdouni attended Berkeley High School from 2010 to 2014. Yassine then attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 2014 to 2018, where they studied Economics and Environmental Studies.
