Melissa Fensterstock is a venture capitalist at Material Impact, focusing on the future of human and planetary health through frontier technologies. Currently serving as an Expert-in-Residence at Digitalis Commons, Fensterstock advises ARPA-H on translating programs into health solutions. As a board member of Connecticut Public, Fensterstock contributes to the state's NPR and PBS affiliate, overseeing multiple television and radio stations. Other roles include Entrepreneur in Residence at Yale Ventures, Executive in Residence at Columbia Technology Ventures, and various advisory positions at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures and Milken Institute. Previously, Fensterstock was CEO of Landsdowne Labs and co-founded Peles Therapeutics, Aplife. Academic credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from The Johns Hopkins University.
