Allison Courtin

Allison translates Climateworks’ analysis for a range of audiences, delivering strategic content for their stakeholders in the transition to net zero emissions. She plays a key role in uplifting the impact of Climateworks’ multidisciplinary engagement across Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific.

Allison is an experienced communications professional with expertise in creating and implementing strategies for complex research, policy and data. Prior to Climateworks, she led communications and brand strategy at the National Science and Technology Medals Foundation as its Senior Director of Strategy and Communications. She also worked for the Brookings Institution, providing communications and media support for experts in its Metropolitan Policy Program.

Allison holds a MA in Communications from Johns Hopkins University. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Brown University.
